Shillong, Dec 15: Laitkor SC qualified for the semifinals of the 4th Shortimai Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Smit SC, today by winning a tiebreaker 4-2 against Ehrngiew FC.
Laitkor struck early in the first quarterfinal through Eddie Kharkongor (5′) but Ehrngiew also produced a goal thanks to Arky (first name only provided) in the 59th minute.
Eddie (pictured left) was named Player of the Match and received his award from Smit SC President Miningstar Mylliemngap.
The second quarterfinal will be held on 20th December between Nangkiew Irat and Jaguar FC at 2PM.
