Shillong, Dec 17: Dkhiah West SC and Byndihati SC will meet in the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Women’s League 2025 after both won their respective semifinals in Khliehriat today.
Dkhiah West first defeated Shilliang Umshong SC 7-0 before Byndihati stormed past Jalyiah United SC 11-0.
Both winners have assembled some of the best players in the state for this tournament, as can be seen from the scoresheets.
Nisilia Majaw (20′, 30′, 44′, 58′, 66′, 80’+2) scored six of Dkhiah West’s seven goals, with the other provided by Rushia Dkhar (51′).
Later, Iaphisha Marbaniang (34′, 37′, 35′) scored a hat-trick, while her team mates Hapily Lyngdoh (7′, 36′), Makrisha Songthiang (14′, 29′), Phyrnai Nongtdu (16′), Feli Sympli (25′) and Charlinda Nongtdu (39′, 40′) also found the back of the net.
The final will take place on 20th December at 1PM.
