Shillong, Feb 24: Nongmensong CC defeated Langsning XI CC by 93 runs in Group A of the Shillong Cricket League Super Division 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, in Polo today.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Nongmensong posted 220/7 in 45 overs, with half-centuries for Pushkar Raj Singh (60 from 83 balls) and Anish Charak (56 not out from 53). Ronnie Nongrum claimed 3/20 in 3 overs for Langsning.
Langsning couldn’t get close to the required runs in the chase as they were dismissed in 35.4 overs for just 127. The top score was an unbeaten 26 from 28 deliveries by Enrick Suchiang. Anish bagged 3/23 in 9 overs and was named Player of the Match.
