Shillong, Mar 17: Thynroit CC defeated Sohra Police Combine by five wickets in Group C of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association’s 5th District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2026 at Saitsohpen, Sohra, today.
Chasing 162 to win, Gratify Synrem hit 126 in 65 deliveries as Thynroit reached the target in 17.2 overs.
Sohra Police won the toss and chose to bat and their total of 161 all out in 19.5 overs was a decent one. S Baraily top-scored with 42 from 22 balls, while Kitlyngkor Nongkhlaw took 2/14 in 4 overs.
Thynroit paced their chase well and won the match with 2.4 overs to spare. Meban Wankhar took 2/27 in 4 overs but nothing could stop Gratify from leading his team to victory and he was named Player of the Match.
