Shillong, May 7: The Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 began today with Mawnianglah Youth coming from a goal down to beat Sei La Sap Football Coaching Centre 2-1 at the SSA Stadium here this evening.
New entrants Sei La Sap scored first in the 25th minute through Mebaniohnam Lyngdoh but a second half brace by Riborlang Kharkongor (70′, 74′) swung the match in Mawnianglah’s favour.
Matches in the U-20 Fourth Division are played over 80 minutes.
The SSA 2026 football season was formally opened by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma in the presence of Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla, Meghalaya Football Association President Hamletson Dohling, Meghalaya State Olympic Association Working President John F Kharshiing and General Secretary Finely L Pariat, and senior SSA officials led by its President Banteidor Lyngdoh MLA.
