Shillong, May 21: East Khasi Hills are in a commanding position after two days of action in the State Level Inter-School Athletics Meet 2026.
At the end of Thursday, EKH have 11 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze. Converted into points (with 5 for gold, 3 for silver and 1 for bronze), EKH have 85 points, well ahead of the chasing pack.
The battle for second position is intense, however, with West Jaintia Hills on 35, East Jaintia Hills on 32 and Ri-Bhoi on 30.
The three-day meet will conclude tomorrow at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre on the NEHU campus.
Tomorrow’s finals will begin at 9AM.
