Shillong, May 23: Nongkseh United won their Group D match of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 at the MFA Ground here today by beating Laitkroh 2-0.
Samphrangshai Rani (42′, 75′) scored both goals in the second half of the 80-minute match.
Earlier, Mawnianglah Youth took a point in a 2-2 draw with Laitkroh. There were a couple of early strikes for both Mawnianglah Youth (who scored in the second minute via Reubenson Kharkongor) and Laitkroh (who equalised thanks to Rosario Kharkongor in the seventh minute).
Rosario then added another goal in the 52nd minute and Mawnianglah Youth finally managed to level in stoppage time through Eborlang Kharkongor (80’+2).
