Young Meghalaya karatekas set off for National Championship in Dehradun

Shillong, Jun 3: A contingent of 41 karatekas and officials from the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association (AMKA) will participate in the 5th KIO Sub-Junior, Cadet & Junior National Karate Championship 2026, scheduled to be held at Dehradun from 4th to 7th June.
There are 19 male and 15 female karatekas from Meghalaya registered for the event.
The team will be led by Donboklang Lyngdoh, Pynhunlang Kharbuli and Ester Mary Lyngdoh as team officials, while Banrilang L Nonglait, Na-oo Man Kiwi War Passah, Albert Pyngrope and Banteilang Pdahksiej will serve as technical officials for the championship.

AMKA extended its best wishes to all the participating karatekas and officials and expresses confidence that they will perform to the best of their abilities and bring laurels to the state.
