Shillong, Jun 4: Golflink registered a 2-1 win against Mawlyngngad in Group C of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 here today.
There were also two games in Group D but both of these ended in draws. Mawphlang and New Challenger entertained in a 2-2 result while it was goalless between Pynthorbah and Nongkseh United.
Golflink took the lead late in the first half of the 80-minute match at the SSA Stadium, through Andoni Suting (40’+1). Nongialam Kharmalki (59′) equalised for Mawlyngngad in the second half but Ribanshan Wahlang (65′) restored Golflink’s lead a few minutes later.
Over at the MFA Ground, Mawphlang twice held the lead thanks to Kerius Rymbai (17′) and Arkidonlang Hujon (49′) but New Challenger found a way to equalise on both occasions through Bonifast Wanniang (29′) and Pynbianglang Kharsyntiew (68′).
