Shillong, Jun 17: Laitlyngkot defeated Pommura in the last group stage game of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 here today.
Nangtei Rynjah (17′) and Shaibannangkhraw Khongsti (66′) scored one in each half to give Laitlyngkot second place in Group F.
The top two teams from each of the six groups have been divided into four pools of three teams each where they will play once against each other. The top two from each pool will then progress to the knockout quarterfinal stage.
The 12 pre-QF teams are Them Rangshken, Mawnianglah Youth, Iatylli, Mawpdang, Golflink, New Challenger, Weilyngkut Area FCC, Thynroit, Laitlyngkot, Nongkseh United, Phir Kurbah Memorial and Sei La Sap FCC.
The pre-quarterfinals are scheduled to begin on 20th June (see below).
