In the second innings state players Agreas Chamcham Sangma took four wickets and Lerry three to help dismiss Prodigies cheaply. Jamesbirth Sangma’s 35 from 33 deliveries was the top score before he fell to Agreas.
Jangkar was named Player of the Final and Player of the Series. He made a total of 203 runs in four games.
Several dignitaries were present on the occasion of the final, including Meghalaya Cricket Association President James PK Sangma MP. Significantly, the SWGHDCA was one of the few district associations not to sign a letter this month calling for the BCCI to intervene in the running of the MCA.
