Shillong, Jun 27: Sei La Sap FCC qualified for the quarterfinals of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2026 after defeating Phir Kurbah Memorial 4-0 in Pool 4 of the pre-quarterfinals here on Saturday.
Phir Kurbah had also lost their first match to Nongkseh United 6-1 last Monday, so the former are out of the tournament, while Sei La Sap and Nongkseh Utd progress, though they still have to meet each other on 4th July to decide which qualifies in first place.
Today Kerryson Khriem (11′), Melberison Kharbangar (40′) and Insporjoy Rynjah (71′, 80’+1) scored for Sei La Sap.
Meanwhile, in Pool 3, the game between Thynroit and Laitlyngkot ended 0-0.
Thynroit, who lost to Weilyngkut 1-0 on 20th June, will now wait for the result between Laitlyngkot and Weilyngkut on 4th July to see whether they go through to the QFs.
