Shillong, Jul 7: North Liberty Higher Secondary School won two titles at the West Jaintia Hills District Level Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2026 recently.
North Liberty won the U-15 boys’ and U-17 girls’ finals, while Amwi HSS were the champions in the U-17 boys’ competition.
The tournament was organised by of the office of the District Sports Officer and concluded on 3rd July at the Wahiajer Multi Sports Complex.
In the U-15 boys’ title match North Liberty pipped Government Boys’ HSS of Jowai 1-0.
In the other final won by North Liberty, they powered to a 5-0 win against HK Singh Memorial SS in the girls’ competition.
Amwi HSS then edged Sawlyngdoh HSS 1-0 in the U-17 boys’ final.
