Shillong, Jul 9: Pomlakrai secured a 1-0 win against Pomlakrai in Group B of the Super 8 stage in the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026 here on Thursday.
Pynkhrehkloi Marbaniang (54′) scored the only goal of the game at the SSA Stadium.
Meanwhile, at the MFA Ground, Lumparing trounced Iaitylli 6-1 in the Relegation Zone’s Group B.
Nathaniel Kharkongor (4′, 8′) and Joslang Lyngkhoi (5′, 14′) made sure Lumparing had a 4-0 lead in under a quarter of an hour of the 80-minute match. Riskhem Syiem (33′) and Pynbianglang Nongkhlaw (65′) added more to Lumparing’s tally later on. Iaitylli’s consolation goal was through Melawantei Kharlukhi (80’+2).
