Shillong, Jul 12: Lumparing, Sanmer and Umpling all won their respective Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026 matches here on Saturday.
The first match, in Relegation Zone Group A, saw Umpling pip Umphyrnai 1-0 through Banteilang Sangma (18′) at the SSA Stadium.
Later, at the same venue, Sanmer blanked Lawmali Pyllun 3-0 in the Super 8 Group A. Damanskhem Thabah (13′), Roshon Thapa (32′) and Bryan Kharbudnah (69′) found the back of the net once each for Sanmer.
Over at the MFA Ground, Lumparing had the biggest win of the day as they flattened Kharang 4-0 in Relegation Zone Group B.
Joslang Lyngkhoi (7′, 44′) scored once in each half of the 80-minute match, along with team mates Kevinson Warbah (55′) and Riskhem Syiem (80’+3).
