Shillong, Jul 17: Mawkasiang were runaway 6-1 victors over Lawmali Pyllun in the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026’s Super 8 Group A at the SSA Stadium here today.
Auspisious Kharpuli (15′), Enrique Sympli (50′, 61′), Nonou Lupheng (56′, 74′) and Rueben Shabong (80′) were the scorers for Mawkasiang. Matches in the Third Division are of 80 minutes’ duration. After almost all the damage had been done, Lawmali did get a consolation goal in the 79th minute courtesy Playerson Nongkseh.
Later, also in Group A of the Super 8, Lamlynti and Sanmer played out a goalless draw.
The only match tomorrow will be the U-20 Fourth Division final between Mawpdang and Sei La Sap FCC at 3:30PM.
