Shillong, Jul 20: The State-Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2026 will be held from 21st to 25th July.
The champion schools from the district-level tournaments will compete in U-15 boys’, U-17 girls’ and U-17 boys’ categories, with matches to be played at the SSA Stadium and MFA Ground in Polo and Mawlai Madan Heh.
The tournament is organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs. The group matches will take place on 21st to 23rd July with semifinals on 24th July and finals on 25th July.
The teams in the U-15 boys’ category are Maharam Government Higher Secondary School (South West Khasi Hills), Little Star HSS (Eastern West Khasi Hills), Mangsang HSS (East Garo Hills), Dilma Apal HSS (North Garo Hills), Baghmara Govt HSS (South Garo Hills), Umpohliew Jingtip HSS (East Khasi Hills), Don Bosco HSS (West Garo Hills), North Liberty HSS (West Jaintia Hills), Anderson HSS (West Khasi Hills), Myngken Christian HSS (Ri-Bhoi), Step By Step SS (East Jaintia Hills) and St Claret HSS (South West Garo Hills). These group games will take place at the SSA Stadium.
In the U-17 boys’ category the teams are Karukol HSS (SGH), Balang Mawlangwir HSS (SWKH), Dapboklang Giri Memorial SS (WKH), OM Roy Memorial HSS (EKH), Little Star HSS (EWKH), Myngken Christian HSS (RB), St Paul HSS, Mangsang (EGH), Okkapara SS (SWGH), Wapung HSS (EJH), Montfort SS, Dilni-Bolchugre (WGH), Amwi HSS, Thangbuli (WJH) and Bajengdoba HSS (NGH). These group games will take place at the MFA Ground.
The teams in the U-17 girls’ category are Upper Kharkutta Upper Primary School (NGH), St Claret HSS (SWGH), North Liberty HSS (WJH), Nongjri Presbyterian SS (RB), Lotus SS (EJH), Rangthong Christian HSS (SWKH), Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (EGH), Lurmangkara SS (WKH), Govt Boys HSS (WGH), Little Star HSS (EWKH), Rangku Memorial Girls HSS (SGH) and Tyrsad HSS (EKH). These group games will take place at Mawlai Madan Heh.
The top team from each group will progress to the semifinals.
