Shillong, Aug 5: Today was the eighth day of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2026 in Khliehriat.
In Pool G, Youth SC Pyrtakuna beat Tuber Shohshrieh SSCC 1-0 with a 55th minute goal provided by Financial Sumer.
Later, in Pool H, Teilang SCSC Lummyrli were 2-0 winners against Tpepswer SSWO. Jona Rymbai (18′) and Winson Bamon (77′) were the scorers.
Finally, in Pool I, Moonongtdu SC came from a goal down to defeat Umtyra YWSC 3-1. Kitlang Lapasam (20′) scored first for Umtyra but Moonongtdu swept to victory with three goals in the space of 20 minutes late in the game. Etilas Lyngdoh (65′), Shanti Lyngdoh (66′) and Poimi Nongtdu (80’+5) scored a goal each.
