Shillong, Aug 13: There were narrow victories for Iapmala United SC, Tuberkmaishnong SSCC and Moolmanoh SC in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second Division 2026 in Khliehriat today.
In Pool G Iapmala United beat Lumshyrmit SC 2-1. Justmeki Swer (33′, 67′) scored for Iapmala and Bikel Khaii (56′) for Lumshyrmit.
Later, in Pool H, Tuberkmaishnong won 3-2 against Kairang CSC. Wansalan Kyndait (19′, 59′) and Samewanki Ryngkhlem (25′) scored for Tuberkmaishnong and Kampher Rymbai (35′) and Sambhalang Mawthoh (60’P) for Kairang.
Finally, in the second round of Pool A, Moolamanoh came from a goal down to beat Pamrakmai SCSC 4-3. Junely Siangshai (4′) and Wandame Laloo (17′) gave Pamrakmai a two-goal lead but Moolamanoh fought back through Kenny S Dkhar (24′), Eriston Dkhar (37′) and Ambition Dkhar (45′).
Pamrakmai then made it 3-3 through Bideon Suchiang (47′) but Moolamanoh bagged the winner in the 65th minute thanks to Edelbert Khaii.
