Shillong, Aug 20: Today was the 14th day of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2026 in Khliehriat.
In the first match of the day, Pool J saw Sonapyrdi FSC beat Mookympad SSCC 4-2 after coming from a goal behind in the 80-minute match. Ebordame Lamare (8′) scored first for Mookympad but Sonapyrdi managed to equalise before half time through Kerlang Tlang (33′). Kitbok Sutnga (45′), Affirming Tlang (67′) and Rikune Rupsi (75′) scored for Sonapyrdi after the break. Ritre Lyngdoh (79′) pulled a goal back for Mookympad but it was too late to mount a comeback.
Then, in Pool K, Wahsarang SCSC blanked Mookhep SCSC 4-0 thanks to goals by Shawas Dkhar (48′, 61′), Combine Lamo (72′) and Evangelist Bareh (73′).
Lastly, in Pool L, Musniang Rim SC drew 1-1 with Shiborlang SC Pynthorsale. Bormi Phawa (21′) scored first for Shiborlang but Lamphrang Dkhar (45′) equalised for Musniang Rim early in the second half.
Tomorrow will witness the last of the round robin fixtures.
