Shillong, Aug 24: Ryntihlang SC Brishyrnot defeated Rangad SCSC 2-1 in Pool E of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second Division 2026 in Khliehriat today.
Hamedabiang Bamon (33′) and Yomioo Syih (35′) scored within a couple of minutes of each other for Ryntihlang before Sunday Tariang (40’+1) converted a penalty for Rangad.
The other two games today both ended in draws.
Umlyngsha YSSC and Khliehriat West FC drew 2-2 after both sides enjoyed the lead for a spell. Owenson Malang (13′) and Niki-o Nongtdu (48′) scored for Khliehriat West and One Enjoy Dkhar (40’+2) and Kamni Rupsi (43′) for Umlyngsha.
Iapmala United SC drew 3-3 with SWO Moosianglamare Old SC. Arly Lamo (9′), Iaslang Lamo (46′) and Shining Rymbai (74′) found the back of the net for Iapmala Utd, while Evening Lapasam (22’P), Premio Muksor (38′) and Pyniar Pusein (55′) struck for Moosianglamare Old.
