Shillong, Aug 26: Cham Cham SCSC and Borghat SCSC both required penalty shootouts to reach the quarterfinals of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2026 in Khliehriat today.
These were the first Round of 16 matches and both ended 0-0 in regulation time.
Cham Cham beat Youngstar SSC Huroi 4-3 in the tiebreaker, while Borghat won 4-1 against Umkiang Maya Club.
Tomorrow will witness the last round of EJHDFA Second Division pool matches.
