Shillong, Aug 28: Youth SC Pyrtakuna and Rymbai Pohskur SC won their respective Round of 16 matches in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2026 in Khliehriat today.
The Pyrtakuna team beat Dongumsngad SC Byndihati 1-0 with a solitary goal by Michael Massar (50′).
Then, Rymbai Pohskur came from a goal behind to beat Musniang Rim SC 3-1. Lamphrang Dkhar (18′) had Musniang Rim out in front but the lead only last two minutes before Deilang Dkhar (20′) equalised. Sanhame Bareh (59′) and Rivaldo Lyngdoh (73′) then scored two goals in the second half to give Rymbai Pohskur victory.
