Shillong, Sep 4: The fourth quarterfinals of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second and Third Division 2026 were held today, with victories for Khliehriat West FC and Rymbai Pohskur SC respectively in Khliehriat today.
Khliehriat West won their Second Division match 5-4 on penalties against Tuberkmaishnong SCSC. Regulation time had finished 1-1 after Lamwam Phawa (24′) scored for Tuberkmaishnong in the 24th minute before Zanwame Swer (80’+3) equalised in stoppage time.
Earlier, in the Third Division, Rivaldo Lyngdoh (7′) and Dakner Dkhar (80’+3) scored for Rymbai Pohskur over Umrasiang United SC to put them through into the last-four.
Reaching the semifinals means that both winners from today will be promoted next season – Khliehriat West to the First Division and Rymbai Pohskur to the Second Division.
