Shillong, Sep 20: SWO Moosianglamare Old SC defeated Dkhiah West SCSO 2-1 in the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Second Division in Khliehriat yesterday.
Premio Muksor (25′) and Rejency Lapasam (70′) found the back of the net for Moosianglamare Old, while Kyntulang Phawa struck for Dkhiah West.
The champions received a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the runners-up took home Rs 25,000.
Players from Moosianglamare Old bagged all the individual awards. Pyniar Pusein was the Top Scorer with four goals, Kynti Muksor was named Best Goalkeeper and Meshwa Lapasam was the Best Player.
