Shillong, Sep 29: Khliehriat East YWSC and Byndihati CSC won their respective matches by big margins in the First Division and Super Division of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association in Khliehriat today.
Khliehriat East defeated Jalyiah United SC in Pool A 4-1 of the First Division with goals for Roikhihbha Nongtdu (8’P, 14′), Kyntulang Nongwar (62′) and Kyrshan Pasi (64′). Jalyiah’s scorer was Mehi Phawa (43′).
Later, Byndihati flattened defending champions Rymbai Shkenshynriah SC 5-0 in the Super Division. Philemon Dkhar (17′), Lungouhao Hangshing (40′), Pyrkhat Sumer (43′, 45’+1) and Ejingmut Lyngdoh (85′) were the scorers.
