Shillong, Oct 3: Mawkhar and Mylliem Lum drew 1-1 in Group B of the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2026 at the SSA Stadium here today.
Mackiven Shyrkon (4′) scored early for Mawkhar, his third goal in as many games.
However, Mylliem Lum found the equaliser more than an hour later through Eliastar Nongsiej (68′), which was his sixth goal.
The point was enough for Mylliem Lum to secure their place in the semifinals. They are currently on top of Group B and have played all of their round robin fixtures. Mawkhar could still take first place but Mylliem Lum will drop no lower than second even if Pohkseh win their last game against Nongrim Hills. This is because Mylliem Lum have head-to-head advantage over Pohkseh.
Similarly, Nongkrem have booked their spot in the semis from Group A, with the other place being fought over by Malki and Nongthymmai.
Tuesday’s fixture:
Group A – Malki vs Mawtawar, 12PM
