Shillong, Oct 29: The Meghalaya Judo Association announced that two of its young judokas – Marbashisha Kharkylliang and Larika Kharkylliang – won medals at the 70th National School Games 2026–27’s U-14 boys’ and girls’ judo championship, which was held in New Delhi from 23rd to 28th October.
Marbashisha won a silver and Larika a bronze.
The MJA congratulated both athletes on their commendable performances, “which reflect their dedication, discipline, hard work and commitment to the sport of judo.”
The association also acknowledged the efforts of their coach, Jonathan Lalrinsanga, in getting the duo to this point.
