Shillong, Jan 16: Laitkor SC won their second match in a row, this time 2-0 against Mylliem SC, in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2023 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Laitkor scored a goal in either half with Risuklang Malngiang (23′) and Giovani Syiemiong (72′) getting their names on the scoresheet.
Today’s match was between the two teams that had secured promotion from the previous season’s Second Division.
This was Mylliem’s first game of the year, while Laitkor had opened the tournament with a 1-0 victory over Malki SC exactly a week ago.
The next fixture is scheduled for Thursday between Malki and Nongrim Hills SC at 2:15PM.
