Shillong, Mar 7: Ehrngiew FC edged Umphrup SC 1-0 in the second quarterfinal of the 2nd Shortimai Knockout Football Tournament in Smit today.
A very even contest was broken only by Robert Khongjoh’s 28th minute goal that gave Ehrngiew the victory.
Robert was also adjudged Player of the Match and was handed his award by the General Secretary of the Dorbar Shnong of Smit, Phuhkupar Lynshiang.
The third quarterfinal will be played tomorrow between Lumkynsai FC and Brothers United FC of Mawlangwir at 1PM.
