Shillong, Sep 26: Sohphoh SC won 5-2 against Golden Lion at the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, today.
Sumar Suting (7′, 22′) scored a first half brace, while Welson Suting (55′), Risuk Suting (74′) and Lovingstar Suting (80’+3) added one each in the second half.
Golden Lion found the back of the net twice but they were always chasing and couldn’t score more after Tenligent Dkhar’s 44th minute goal. The earlier one was provided by Thrangdor Swer (9′).
Sumar was named Player of the Match.
The next fixture will take place on 30th September between Nongdawah SC and Najan Hi FC at 2:30PM.
