Shillong, Mar 29: SHG Combine and Ri-Bhoi Office Combine will meet in the final of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association’s Inter-Office-cum-Corporate League T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 after both came through their respective semifinals yesterday.

The tournament began on 10th March and has been held at Madan Pynshadkhurai, Saitsohpen Sohra with 10 teams divided into two groups.

In the first semifinal, SHG Combine defeated Meghalaya Police Sohra by 29 runs. The SHG team won the toss and batted first, making 158/5 in 20 overs, with E Nathan A Diengdoh striking 74 from 58 deliveries, while Stevenson Syiem bagged 2/22 in 4 overs for the police.

In reply, MLP Sohra were restricted to 129/6 in their 20 overs, with a top score of 49 from 36 by Albinus Syiemiong. Sunny Sten bagged 2/10 in 4 overs. Nathan (pictured left) was named Player of the Match.

Later, PHE Sohra Division won the toss against Ri-Bhoi Office Combine and batted first, making 162/8 in 20 overs. Sandy Kharshandi led the way with 65 from 43 balls. Wansuklang Shullai claimed 4/20 in 4 overs for the bowling side.

The Ri-Bhoi team made short work of the target, smashing 163/5 in just 13.5 overs. Probeson Bey bludgeoned 44 from 23 balls even as Rahnam Nongspung took 3/49 in 3 overs. Probeson (pictured right) was the Player of the Match.

The final will take place on Monday from 10:30AM.
