Shillong, Aug 23: Smit and Nongmensong split points in a 1-1 draw in Group B of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Apburom Nongrum (9′) struck first for Smit before Shemphang Myrthong (77′) equalised for Nongmensong in the second half.
This was Smit’s first match of the season and Nongmensong’s second. Nongmensong’s first game had also ended 1-1, against Marbisu on 20th August.
