Shillong, Apr 2: FC Bengaluru United will begin their 2025-26 I-League 2 campaign today and the club has two Meghalayans in the squad that will vie for promotion to the Indian Football League – Aenam Jyrwa and Allen Lyngdoh Nongbri (pictured left and right).
Allen, a left-back, has been registered with the club since January 2025 and in February of this year his agent announced that his contract has been extended into 2026-27.
Aenam, a midfielder, rejoins Bengaluru United from Rangdajied United. He played for the Karnataka-based side in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
In addition, FCBU also announced that Bishal Lama, who previously kept goal for Shillong Lajong, is one of their three goalkeepers this season.
Bengaluru United will play their opening match today at 4PM against local rivals SC Bengaluru.
