Shillong, Aug 17: The 1st True North Open Swimming Competition and Masters Meet will be held next month and will be open to all domiciled residents of Meghalaya in what promises to be a fun and healthy activity.
Organised by True North, the 11th and 12th September competition will take place at the True North complex in Lapalang for swimmers from age 7 to 70-plus in Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Master categories across various events.
Registration forms are available offline at True North centres in Mission Compound and Lapalang, or online via the link on its official Facebook and Instagram handles, as well as through QR codes on those platforms and in newspaper advertisements. All primary communications will be relayed via WhatsApp.
While individual swimmers, teams and swim clubs from all parts of the state are welcome, participants should note that accommodation will not be provided by the organisers. For more information contact 8575705095 or 8787541258.
