Shillong, Feb 19: Meghalaya will take on Tripura in their first match of the second U-21 Dr T Ao Football Tournament at 12:15PM in Guwahati today.
The North East football tournament has gone international with this edition, with teams from Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh taking part.
Meghalaya and Tripura are in Pool B along with Nepal, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur.
Meghalaya finished third in the inaugural edition of the tournament last year.
There are 18 members in the Meghalaya squad, largely drawn from Shillong Lajong and Langsning. The team is coached by Bobby Lyngdoh Nongbet.
