Shillong, Jun 15: Nangkiew Irat and Ryntih played out a 1-1 draw in the U-18 Shillong Premier League at Third Ground, Polo, today.
This was the first draw since 21st May, but felt more like a Ryntih win the way the players reacted at the final whistle.
Albert Nongsiej scored first, for Nangkiew, in the 41st minute, but Ryntih shot right back with a goal by Mewan Laloo in the 43rd.
Nongsiej is now tied with Bobidonlang Lyngkhoi of Marbisu and Rikmenlang Nongrum of Langsning on four goals each.
Nangkiew, meanwhile, join Smit, Mawkhar and Shillong Lajong on 10 points each, while Ryntih are in ninth spot with four.
There will be a double-header on Monday. First Laban will take on Langsning at 1PM at Third Ground before Nongrim Hills face Nongkrem at 3:45PM at the JN Stadium.
