Shillong, Feb 23: A nerve-racking penalty shootout was required to decide the winner in today’s match of the 6th Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC.
LRN FC edged Pdengshnong Mawryngkneng 8-7 in the tiebreaker at Wahiajer Stadium after full time ended all square.
Oliver Pale (pictured left) of LRN was the man-of-the-match.
The next match will be played tomorrow between Suchen FC and Mukhla United at 2PM.
