Shillong, Oct 9: Lumphyrnai Sohphoh won the Kesilroy Pala Memorial Trophy for the Thadlaskein Sports Association’s Super Division 2025 in the final against Mukhla Raij on Tuesday at Wahiajer.

The score was locked at 1-1 after regulation time, prompting a tiebreaker, which was won by Lumphynai Sohphoh 4-3.

Welcome Sari (54′) of Mukhla Raij and Pynbiangmi Mynsong (60′) of Lumphyrnai Sohphoh were the scorers in open play before the penalty shootout.

At the prize distribution ceremony individual awards were also presented to Sumar Suting of Lumphyrnai Sohphoh (Top Scorer), Banshan Mukhim of Mukhla Raij (Best Goalkeeper) and Pynbiangmi Mynsong of Lumphyrnai Sohphoh (Best Player).

There were several dignitaries present at the final, including Deputy Chief Minister and local MLA Sniawbhalang Dhar as chief guest, President of the Meghalaya Football Association Hamletson Dohling and Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla.
