Shillong, Apr 27: Happy Red Rooster delivered an outstanding performance at the ADCC Championship held in Guwahati, rising above fierce national competition to be crowned the Best Team of the tournament.
The event saw participation from 26 teams from different parts of India, making it one of the most competitive grappling showcases in the country.
Happy Red Rooster secured a tally of 7 gold, 8 silver and 2 bronze medals.
The ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) Championship is widely regarded as the most prestigious and elite no-gi jiu-jitsu tournament in the world, attracting top-level athletes and setting the highest standard in submission grappling. Competing and excelling in such an arena highlights the growing level of talent and dedication within the Indian grappling community.
Speaking on the achievement, team representatives expressed pride in the fighters’ performances and emphasized the importance of continued growth, learning and representation at national and international levels.
