Shillong, Oct 1: Nongkseh will have home advantage when it comes to their I-League 3 2026-27 matches, which will be held in Shillong at the SSA Stadium later this month.
Nongkseh have been drawn in Group C with Chhaygaon FC of Assam, Lakecity FC of Madhya Pradesh, Godavari FC of Andhra Pradesh and Kuppuraj FC of Pondicherry.
The I-League 3 is for teams relegated from I-League 2 plus current champions of statewide leagues. Nongkseh qualified for this season’s tournament by winning the 5th Meghalaya State League title in June.
Two matches a day will be held on alternate days from 22nd October. Around the same time will be the Indian Women’s League 2 Group C matches taking place at the same ground as well.
Matches will begin at 9AM and 3PM. There is expected to be a request to the All India Football Federation to hold all of Nongkseh’s matches in the evening.
