Shillong, Jul 18: Three Group B Third Division matches were held at Second Ground, Polo, today.
In the first match Mawshbuit and Mawtawar played out a goalless draw.
The second fixture then saw Pohkseh defeat Nongkseh 2-1. Pohkseh’s W Nongkhlaw (44′) and N Lyngkhoi (60′) scored on either side of B Rumnong’s 53rd minute goal for Nongkseh.
Young XI and Mawnianglah then played out a 1-1 draw in the final match of the day. A Suting put Young XI into the lead in the 60th minute before N Nongkhlaw equalised 10 minutes later.
Pohkseh are leading the points table in the group with a full nine points from three games. Mawtawar are second with seven points.
