Shillong, Oct 14: The Meghalaya Athletics Association has summoned athletes for a coaching camp in preparation for the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022, which Shillong will host next month.
The camp will run from 17th October at the SAI Training Centre on the NEHU campus here. The 49 selected athletes must report on that day at the JN Stadium, Polo, at 2PM. Athletes should bring their running shoes, sports shoes, track suits, blanket, bedsheets, etc. No travel allowance or dearness allowance will be provided.
The chief coach for the camp will be Daisy Marwein and the assistant coach will be renowned long distance runner Beningstar Lyngkhoi.
