Shillong, Mar 11: The Shillong Sports Association’s U-14 Boys Football League 2023 began here today at Third Ground, Polo.
Two matches were played today and in the 10:30AM kick-off Madanryting SC defeated Summit Academy 5-0 in Group A.
The victors’ goals were scored by Jefferson Kharmawphlang (18′), Medonborlang Mawrie (20′), Kitboklang Mawrie (24′) and Wanlamkupar Kharsahnoh (37′, 53′)
In the 11:45AM kick-off, Kick Start Football Academy defeated Mylliem Grassroot 4-1 in Group B.
Kick Start’s goals were scored by Iaisynroplang Syiemlieh (23′), John W Nongsiej (31′), Aitenjoy Nongkhlaw (42′) and Wanbhalang Kharmawlong (60′). Mylliem Grassroot’s goal was by John Janai Khardewsaw (55′).
The 19 participating teams have been divided into three group of five and one group of four.
In Group A are Summit Academy, Madanryting SC, Sohryngkham SC and Nangkiew Irat SC.
Group B comprises Mylliem Grassroot, Kick Start Football Academy, Mawlai SC, Umphyrnai SC and Laitkroh SC.
In Group C are Kynton U Mon, Challenger Football Academy, Mawreng SC, Pay For Right Football Academy and 4th Mile Kick Start Football Academy.
Group D is made up of Mawkriah SC, Them Rangshken ACC, Mawpat SC, Rangdajied United FC and Mylliem SC.
The rest of the fixtures have yet to be announced by the SSA.
