Shillong, Jul 15: Kharsyntiew FC came from a goal down to defeat Galaxy United 2-1 in the eighth match of the Knockout Football Tournament organised by Ri Khasi SCSC at Madan Kurkalang, Bhoirymbong, today.
Kyrshan Tariang gave Galaxy Utd the lead in the 14th minute but Kharsyntiew FC were able to equalise in the 25th via P Nongrum.
Densil Umdor (79′) then found the back of the net deep in the second half to give Kharsyntiew the win.
The next match will be between Umeit FC and Sten United FC on 17th July.
