Shillong, Nov 13: Rangdajied United FC started their Third Division League (I-League 3) effort with a stomping 5-0 victory over Millat FC from Maharashtra in Goa today.
The Group C match began with a brace for Owanijuh Pajuh, who scored in the 16th and 34th minutes for Rangdajied.
2-0 was how it remained until the 76th minute when substitute Damehun Syih got his name on the scoresheet after coming on to the pitch just a quarter of an hour earlier.
A couple more substitutes shone in added time, with Oresterwell Langshiang (90’+2) and Stephanson Pale (90’+4) giving RUFC a superlative victory with late goals of their own.
Rangdajied will next take on Kickstart FC from Karnataka on Wednesday at 9AM, which will be the latter’s first match.
