Shillong, Nov 29: The top two teams in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Super Division 2024 – Dhana CSC and defending champions Rymbai Shkenshynriah – were beaten today by Sutnga SSCC and Chiehruphi SYWSC respectively.
In the first match in Khliehriat, Chiehruphi edged R Shkenshynriah 2-1. Premi Muksor (27′) and Coming Dkhar (39′) scored for Chiehruphi and Areas Khan (35′) for R Shkenshynriah.
Later, Sutnga pipped Dhana with a solitary goal by Lalremkung Hmar (89′).
Sutnga are now tied with Dhana on 12 points, while Chiehruphi have drawn level with R Shkenshynriah’s 10 points, making the Top 4 a very close fight.
