Shillong, Oct 26: Nongkseh and Meghalaya Police continued to move in sync, with each producing a 4-0 victory in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here yesterday.
MLP first defeated Pohkseh in the early kick-off, while Nongkseh dealt with Mawtawar later on.
Baiaikupar Swer (61′, 72′, 79′) struck a second half hat-trick for Nongkseh after Shano Tariang (7′) scored early in the game.
The police, meanwhile, started with an own goal conceded by a Pohkseh player in the 7th minute followed by one goal each from Balmingstar Lyngkhoi (24′), Chesterfield Nongdhar (70′) and Pynshaidor Nongrang (76′).
Both Nongkseh and MLP have a full 15 points from five games each, with Nongkseh leading the standings based on goal difference (+29 to +16).
