Shillong, Jul 29: Umlyngka and Nongmensong won their respective Group B matches of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2026 here today.
At the MFA Ground, Umlyngka beat Smit 3-1 while Nongmensong pipped Mawkriah West 1-0 at the SSA Stadium.
Kevin Diengdoh (34′) scored the only goal of the SSA Stadium match to give Nongmenson 3 points.
In contrast, four goals were scored in the other match and all in the last quarter of the match.
J Rudy Wilson Nongkhlaw (72′) struck first for Umlyngka and then came other goals by Anthony Kharkongor (81′) and Nichelson Lyngkhoi (90’+5). Smit’s only goal was through Shanmeiaki Warlarpih (90’+4).
