Shillong, Jun 11: Defending champions Shillong Lajong got their U-18 Shillong Premier League 2018 campaign off and running with a 2-1 victory over Sawmer here today.
Badonlang Rapsang bagged the opening goal for SLFC in less than 10 minutes after the kick-off and the lead was doubled in the 27th minute through Freestar Kharbangar.
This was Sawmer’s first ever match in the U-18 SPL and they did well enough not to conceded to mighty Lajong, but they failed to find a way back into the game, bar their 89th minute goal scored by Justerwell Tham.
Tomorrow Nangkiew Irat will take on Malki at 3:30PM.
